Co-Founder & CTO

Will Salisbury is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Salisbury Labs, where he leads materials innovation and process development for next-generation composite systems. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University. Will brings experience from industry and research—having supported composite manufacturing at Safran and developed thermoplastic structures at UMaine’s Composites Center. His expertise in polymers, process engineering, and scalable composite fabrication is foundational to our technical vision at Salisbury Labs.

Co-Founder & CEO

Aidan Salisbury is a mechanical engineer and materials technologist with deep hands-on experience in composites manufacturing, advanced materials R&D, and prototype-to-process development. He currently works on high-temperature composite and thermal protection systems in the aerospace sector, where he designs, builds, and iterates experimental manufacturing systems and production-relevant hardware. He is an expereince leader in a range of technical teams. As co-founder and CEO of Salisbury Labs, he is focused on translating patented lignin-based carbon fiber technology into a scalable, commercially viable manufacturing platform in the U.S.
